Our client, a logistic giant specialising in warehousing and cold storage solutions, is expanding rapidly and in need of experienced professionals to manage the logistics and operations effectively.  

Job Role

This role is responsible to operate the electrical and propane driven forklift inside the warehouse and cold storage environment.  The candidate would be accountable for safe and efficient operation.  

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage the products efficiently with the use of Forklift
• Ensure the stacking of products is done and maintained in safe and exemplary manner 
• Maintain Forklift as per the checklist and retain appropriate forklift records
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on the Forklift and report any mechanical/electrical issues to the Supervisor
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following OSHA standards
• Keep aisles and staging areas clear of products once processed
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on assigned Forklifts
• Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work area
• Perform housekeeping and 5S duties.
• Be prepared to carry out any other Warehousing duties, as required 

Essential Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Valid Forklift license is highly recommended
• Preference will be given to candidates with SDCB (sit down counterbalance) forklift experience 
• Must have good command over English language, both written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work under cold and freezing (-24 Deg C) temperature
• Ability to lift upto 50 lbs with proper technique
• Positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment
• Excellent understanding of warehouse activities, order picking and logistics operations
• Basic computer knowledge
• Multi-tasking and proficiency in reading and counting numbers
